1. Closely held Ahemdabad drug maker Intas Pharmaceuticals has trumped larger domestic peer Aurobindo Pharma and Cinven, a london headquartered private equity firm, to aquire assets of Teva Pharmaceuticals in the UK and Ireland for an enterprise value of around Rs 5,085 Crores.
2. Amazon India has sold over 15 million units with prime subscription service the top selling product.
3. Kishore Biyani led Future Group has launched Future Pay a digital loyalty wallet that helps consumers shop without card or cash across formats such as Big Bazaar, E Zone and Home Town.
4. Samsung is likely to sell 'Safe' Galaxy Note 7 from October 28 onwards which will compete Apple I Phone 7 and Google Pixel which will hit around the stores anytime.
5.  Nasdaq listed travel portal Make My Trip has forayed into alternative accomodation space through a new entity Rightstay. It has already registered 10,000 properties ranging from guesthouses to villages.
