  1. For the quater ended for 156 companies the net profit rose to 3.9% year on year despite a 9.5% fall in net sales.
  2. Sony Music Entertainment eyes 25% market share and is planning to enter the pop business and child-related content in a big way.
  3. Zydus Cadilla net profit up 41% at Rs 391 crore for the quarter ended September 30.
  4. Gamesa India has signed a 100 Megawatt power project order with Hero Future Energies.
